College Football Trip to Knoxville

sunny 80 °F

College Football is the greatest fan experience of any sports and Julie and I (or maybe just I) wanted the boys to experience it also, so we drove to Knoxville, TN to attend the Tennessee-Alabama football game.

On Friday evening, we enjoyed visiting Market Square and eating, drinking, and shopping. On Saturday, we hiked in Ijams Nature Preserve before heading to the football game later that day. We got to see Smoky (Tennessee mascot), as well as the Marching Band and the Vol Walk, which is when the football players arrive at the stadium. Neyland Stadium holds over 110,000 fans and it was packed, so it was great atmosphere for a Saturday night game in the SEC!
